First Full cut

Here is the first full cut of our opening sequence, so now we can show it to our teachers and audiences to see if there are any changes that need to be made.

Editing titles

As I was the editor for our group, it was very important for me to get the titles just right. Here is how I created the titles we thought would be great for our text;

First I had to select where I would want to have the title and stop it in the right place. And then I'd click the bar at the top,

And then new title, then default still.

Then it would pop with this.

Then I would pick out the font we picked out earlier for our titles.

And then click anywhere and write out the title.

And then when i'd finised typing and chose the right size to go with the shot the if I clicked the arrow at the top left I would be able to move the text around and place it in a good place for the shot.

Here are the before and after shots of the cast, to see how different their characters costumes are compared to their real life clothes;

This shows how we put time into carefully choosing a costume for each character to represent who they are as a character. eg Blaise is meant to be very cool so we made sure his costume was very cool for the 1950s.

Day of filming Band

The other day we finished filming the remaining parts of our production. After school we all headed to the location we chose to film. As the rest of the cast went inside to get ready, Tom, Liv and I finished filming the closing shots of Blaise. 

Then when we had done that we went inside and set up the props to film all the band shots. 

And then preceded to film;

After a while it started to get dark, which gave us an issue for lighting, but it still turned out alright.

Overall it was a great afternoon of filming.
