For our opening sequence we have the idea of setting it in the late 1950's/ early 1960s. So I thought it might be a good idea to do some research around that time. Here are some iconic events/people from the 1960s.

WashingtonThe Civil rights Movement reached a climax with the March on Washington in August, 1963. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gave his “I Have a Dream” speech to 250,000 people. After the march, the Civil Rights Movement continued on and grew increasingly. To this day, it is one of the most, if not the most, Iconic speeches in history.
